Don't forget that the Champaign-Urbana Symphony also provides our community with important educational outreach programs. The C-U Symphony's KinderKonzert and In-School Concert series serve thousands of children each year. Lasting two days every March, the KinderKonzerts present a unique opportunity for students (over 6000 annually) to learn about orchestra music first-hand through live performance and classroom study. The Symphony is happy to collaborate on this program with Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and The School of Music Office of Outreach and Public Engagement. Supported by Kraft Foods and the Guild of the C-U Symphony.

The In-School Concerts are held in the spring of each year, bringing small orchestra ensembles into area schools to provide musical exposure to a broad base of children who may not have had previous musical exposure. This series is provided by the Guild of the C-U Symphony.
