The Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit organization
and has been the community's orchestra for forty-six years.
The C-U Symphony is a professional orchestra dedicated to enhancing
life in the community through music performance and music education
of the highest quality. Through live performances, outreach programs,
and radio broadcasts on WILL FM, the Symphony reaches an audience of
over 45,000 community members annually.
The C-U Symphony is the professional orchestra in residence at the Krannert Center
for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Orchestra musicians of the Champaign-Urbana Symphony are accepted by audition.
The repertoire list is available by contacting the Symphony office.
Auditions are generally held in September each year or by special appointment.
